Algae are amazing organisms. Within these single-cell plants is an abundance of human nutrition and nutritional supplemental value.

RAE has the patent-pending technology to extract these valuable components for better health for humans and animals. We plan to begin shipping products into the human nutrition and nutraceutical marketplace in the second half of 2012.

Made with a balanced blend of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9, RAE’s algal oil products provide a valuable, healthy alternative to vegetable and fish sources for omega-3. Additionally, RAE’s algal products contain high levels of naturally occurring GLA, lutein, zeaxanthin and carotenoids, along with vitamin E.

RAE has developed the patent-pending processes to manufacture a high-protein algal supplement. The algal protein will be a high quality alternative to whey and soy products – without the undesirable aspects associated with these materials.

RAE algal oil containing ALA (omega-3) is beneficial. According to studies from the Linus Pauling Institute, “ALA metabolisms in healthy young men indicate that approximately 8 percent of dietary ALA is converted to EPA and up to 4 percent is converted to DHA. In healthy young women, approximately 21 percent of dietary ALA is converted to EPA, and 9 percent is converted to DHA.”
