Sheila L. Kanel received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  She has worked as a Pension Actuary for Ernst & Young and served as an Assistant Vice President and Employee Benefits Trust Officer for First American Trust Company. Mrs. Kanel has worked with Dr. Jeffrey S. Kanel and J.S. Kanel & Associates, LLC on other entrepreneurial pursuits, including the development of a process to grow and harvest algae for the production of natural beta-carotene.
